Did you have a great experience at The Ivy? We'd love to hear about it!
I recently attended an elegant bridal tea at the Ivy. An excellent tea was served in an assortment of charming tea pots. The ladies who attended enjoyed delicious tea sandwiches, moist scones, petit fours and other delicacies created by talented chefs. Simply put, the food was fabulous. Plan an elegant, refined event at the Ivy Cafe for a "moment in time."

My three friends and I had lunch at your cafe on 5-15-10. It was wonderful, the food was excellent, the dessert was wonderful. We tried two of them and shared. Chocolate bread pudding and the Tiramsu. We decided having lunch at your cafe was the highlight of our whole weekend. Thank you again.

We absolutely love the Ivy. The food is always fantastic. The owners and waitstaff are truly great people. They remember you when you come in ... like seeing old friends. We love to come to dinner after a long week,
dining here is like a mini vacation/retreat :)

When you find a restaurant that meets the culinary test in New York or Paris, yet it's to be found in a charming provincial and rustic setting in a two hundred year old house in the delightful hamlet of Ligonier, it becomes an especial fine indeed. One of two owners, the one I spoke with, was trained in French and Mediterranean restaurants in Northern California, and he, along with his co-owner, has ensured that top standards and three-star food are hallmarks in dining at The Ivy Cafe!
Our dinner of a Wednesday night, with the place about 70% filled with a mix of locals and tourists, suggests that on weekends, reservations would be a must. We ordered wine by-the-glass from a sophisticated wine list that was very reasonably priced. My steak au roquefort (sauce), perfectly cooked medium rare, would not have been better even in Paris. A pastry of fruit and custard layered puff pastry rounded out a sumptuous repast, all at reasonable cost, with attentive service, in a relaxing home-like atmosphere. This is a restaurant I would recommend even if it meant driving 25 or 30 miles each way, to enjoy what it has to offer in food and in relaxing ambiance.

A gem of a restaurant! Owned by a young, energetic couple. The pastry chef (wife) is a CIA graduate and the chef (husband) used to cook for Donald Trump. The salads were fresh, the yeast rolls yummy, both seafood and beef entrees good, and the desserts way too big! We stayed in Ligonier two nights, but ate here twice. There's ample parking out front and meters cost only 25 cents an hour. While you're in Ligonier, tour the new museum at Fort Ligonier and check out the exhibit on Eastern Orthodoxy at the Antiochian Village.

We are very lucky to have The Ivy Cafe in town. Ask about their blueberry muffins, they are absolutely yummy. Also, you can't miss with any of the lunch salads.

The Ivy Cafe is for us a recent discovery. We will be returning tomorrow for our third visit in six weeks. We love everything about this wonderful restaurant and so do the friends we force to drive an hour and a half for lunch!

My husband and I found your restaurant this past September when we were in your area to attend the Highland Games. We live in Irwin, so Ligonier is a bit off the beaten path for us. Since discovering the Ivy Café, however, you are fast becoming our favorite destination spot. We have twice brought out-of-state friends to dine there and are always pleased. The atmosphere is cozy and the food is wonderful.
